The Mark of Heaven and the Seal of God

Writer: Pastor Romi MoodyPastor Romi Moody

Daily Devotional:

Scripture:

“Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” — Revelation 7:3 (NKJV)

Devotional:

Throughout Scripture, God marks His people as His own. In Revelation, we see a contrast between those who bear the seal of God and those who take the mark of the beast. The seal on the foreheads of God’s servants signifies divine protection, ownership, and identity in Christ. It is a spiritual mark that sets apart those who belong to Him.

This sealing represents the Holy Spirit’s work in believers. Paul writes, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:13). This seal is not a physical mark but a spiritual one, confirming that we are God’s children, protected from His wrath, and destined for eternal life.

In a world where darkness is increasing, we must remain steadfast in our faith, ensuring that our hearts are fully surrendered to Christ. Those who bear the mark of heaven walk in obedience, holiness, and love, reflecting the character of God in a world that desperately needs His light.

Reflection:

• Are you living in a way that reflects God’s mark upon your life?

• How does knowing you are sealed by God bring you peace and confidence?

• What steps can you take to remain faithful and set apart for Him?

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for sealing me with Your Holy Spirit and marking me as Your own. Help me to walk in obedience, reflecting Your love and truth in everything I do. Strengthen my faith so that I stand firm in You, knowing that I am protected and chosen for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Walk confidently today, knowing you are sealed by God, chosen, and set apart for His kingdom!

Vision Church

Do you ever wonder where and how you will get your next meal?  For most of us, we do not worry about this.  Unfortunately, many people still go without a decent meal every day.  Vision Church opens the kitchen in order to serve a hot meal and provide a bag of groceries to the homeless people in our community.
