Scripture: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
Devotional Thought:
In a world full of distractions, responsibilities, and worries, it’s easy to focus on everything but God. We chase success, relationships, security, and approval—hoping they will bring peace and fulfillment. But Jesus gives us a simple yet powerful truth: When we seek God first, everything else falls into place.
Seeking first the Kingdom means making God our highest priority. It’s about pursuing His presence before our plans, His righteousness before our desires, and His will before our own understanding. It’s trusting that when we put Him first, He will take care of our needs—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Reflection Questions:
• What does seeking God first look like in your daily life?
• Are there any areas where you’ve been placing other things before Him?
• How can you shift your focus to trust in His provision today?
Prayer:
Father, I choose to seek You first today. I lay down my worries, my plans, and my desires at Your feet. Help me to trust that when I put You first, everything I need will come in Your perfect timing. Align my heart with Yours, and let me walk in Your righteousness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Action Step:
Before you start your day, take a few moments to pray and surrender your plans to God. Ask Him to guide your steps and help you seek His Kingdom above all else.
